Building Loads:

Dead Load- the weight of the structure, immovable fixtures like wall, carpet, and roof.

Snow Load- designed for a load of snow and ice

Live Load- Humans or movable furniture

Rain Load- designed for a load of rain

Dynamic Load-  people, wind, wave, earthquake
